Financial Institutions
Issuance, custody, and settlement on the rail regulated participants already operate on.
What this looks like
Banks, broker-dealers, custodians, and transfer agents issuing regulated instruments — securities, structured products, money-market funds, tokenized deposits — under their own licences, on Canton. The licensed participant carries every regulated function: KYC, suitability, transfer-agent recordkeeping, tax reporting, regulatory disclosure. Boli ships the asset model, the compliance pack engine, the settlement primitives, and the agent runtime.
Atomic DvP
Atomic delivery-vs-payment via the Splice Token Standard `AllocationV1` interface. The security leg and the cash leg settle in a single Canton workflow with full atomicity — neither side moves unless both do. Sub-transaction privacy keeps named-party detail off the public surface while the regulated record stays canonical on Canton.
EVM and Solana mirrors emit distribution surfaces — for secondary discoverability, for liquidity overlays, for retail-facing wallets — without ever displacing the regulated record. Canton settles; the mirrors distribute.
Why Canton
Canton is a privacy-preserving public blockchain operated by a federation of named, regulated institutions, with trillions in regulated financial activity already processing across the network. Sub-transaction privacy, instant finality, and atomic multi-party workflows are first-class properties of the protocol — not retrofitted constraints. Boli is an operating platform on the same chain.
Standards used
BSP-0001 (Tradeable Base) defines the transferable-asset semantics — issuance, transfer with compliance-pack enforcement, redemption, lifecycle events, atomic DvP via AllocationV1. The compliance pack carries the jurisdiction-specific rules; the base carries the regime-agnostic primitives.
